Almost 2 months on this Caldera Bangle, just got it shot nicely by Bearlovecamera. Caldera Bangle is designed by Jean Power. One of her design in Geometric Beadwork.

Bollalicious

Did this bracelet for the Sept's challenge for the Estybeadweavers group but was too late for the entry ....

Named it Bollaclicious as the Sept's theme was Bollywood. 

It's been a while since I last made something so blingalicious and I'm pretty happy with the finished bracelet. 14mm Sahara rivolis with a touch of Lime AB2X bicones, is just simply fabulous!

Band of Jewels by Melanie Potter from Aug/Sep 2010 Beadwork magazine. Simply awesome design to work with and I love the idea of using herringbone and peyote to bezel the crystals. 1 more to my collection of bracelets!

 

Another design by Marcie Abney from Jun/Jul 2020 Beadwork magazine. I made this for a birthday gift for my colleague, I was just lucky that it fit her nicely on her wrist. A little too early but I hope she likes it! Happy Birthday Mylene =D

WORKING HARD BEFORE THE NEW YEAR

The 2 designs above were finished before the Chinese New Year. The necklace is a design by Lisa Kan, featured in Beadwork (Dec/Jan 2010). Bracelet is by Rachel Nelson-Smith in Beadwork (Feb/March 2010). The bracelet has taken a little longer to finish ... brick stitch. I enjoyed making the neckace, new ideas to try =)

Make this phone pouch for my son's new mobile phone. That's the solar panel on his phone. As no phone pouch was given, need to make one for it. Interesting design as the phone was made from re-cycled materials and the box that came with the phone was also recycled materials! Not so good with the stitching but I tried my best !

LAYERED LOOPS

Beaded a bracelet from Bead & Button magazine designed by Smadar Grossman. Simply and elegant piece of design. I've used a 3 strand tube clasp rather than a 2 strand. Replaced some 11s with 2mm Swarovski crystal beads. Love the end result !

It was stressful using the 2mm as my FireLine broke couple of times... A lunar New Year accessories =)

BROADBAND

It had been a while since I last done a design from the Bead & Button magazine. I love bracelet and this design catch my eyes when the magazine arrives at my place. This issue arrived in a pretty special way, it was left on my gate rather than in my mail box.... lucky for me that my neighbours are not interested in beading =)

This design calls for 8s and RAW (right angle weave). I choose a pink/mauve colour theme since it's one of my favourite! Although RAW it's one of my least favourite stitch, I manged to finish it =D

Browse into the August 2009 Bead & Button magazine on page 69 to make this fabulous design by Barbara Klann.

No more bracelet for the time being as I'm busy with new workshops design (look out for them soon!) and Teachers' Day is just another 3 more weeks .... got to hurry to make gifts for them as it's my son last year in St Andrew Sec School. 'O' level approaching soon .... (-_-") mummy is stress!

Finished my last bracelet for the year, I think. Don't have much time for another although I do wish to go back to my Pearl Orbit but am finding no time to do so .......

Guess I better concentrated on finishing my Xmas present before embarking my next beaded project.

ZIGGLE BANGLE

1 bangle is never enough. Ha Ha! That's right. I made a 2nd zig-zag but then b'cos my beads are all in one direction. I decided to name it, ziggle.....

MY LATEST PROJECT

Been SUPER busy for the last few weeks. Preparing workshops for Bead Hub, submitting my design for roadshow, bazaar @ MAAD. But I manage to squeeze a little time to complete my BFC's meeting project. Here's the lastest work *_*

The materials called for triangle beads but I used the mini square beads instead. And I love the finished bangle. Ya! Making a second bangle tomorrow at BFC meeting ......

RUFFLED BANGLE

Finished another beaded bangle by Shelley Nybakke which is the subscriber's pattern in the bead&button.com

Simple design to make but lots of work with the 2-drop peyote stitch. Done it with salmon colour.

My wrist is rather flat, not sure how long the bangle is going to stay in shape ???
